SAFEGUARDING
Safeguarding Awareness is a U.K. mandated program formulated to define and outline roles in safeguarding children and adults at risk in respect to events and activities. The program applies to more than just the U.K. The training allows staff and talent to be able to recognise signs of abuse and neglect, know how to act upon a concern or disclosure, and be aware of relevant legislation and local policy and procedures for supporting and protecting children and adults at risk. Having a clear understanding of safeguarding improves the safety of children and adults at risk. It is our role to create and support a safer event for children & adults at risk and those within the organisation.
